Fly Jet Airways (awesome service), they fly via Brussels and no transit visa required whatsoever.
UK has this ridiculous transit visa requirement and we should not fly BA any more. At least I don't fly BA for this reason.

Does USCIS issue multiple RFEs on I-485 simultaneously or consecutively? The reason I ask is because both myself and my wife recently got RFEs. Myself because the Doctor forgot to fill in the Tuberculosis details and for my wife about her birth certificate. We have responded to both and the responses are exactly what they requested in the RFE.
Should we now relax and just wait for the PD to be come current and get our GC or is there a possibility of getting more RFEs? When there are multiple issues in an application would USCIS raise all of them simultaneously or wait for the response for the first one before raising the second one? Any one have any experience in this regard?
Its PIT ( Point in time) , so they see u are missing something they issue an RFE, they get the evidence and go to next step... the story goes on

This is indeed a sad story and at the same time an excellent example of the absurdity of US Immigration rules. To not be sympathetic to legal, US educated, tax paying immigrants and then simply allow illegals to usurp social services and now, apparently, pay a fine and be all good is ridiculous.
Just fix up your grammar and perhaps leave out being partial to the Democrats (because realize who you are dealing with).

My employer doesn't provide insurance at all and I'm paying $400 from my pocket just for myself with Atlantis Insurance. Not even a good insurance but the cheapest I could find.

I guess, since it spells out that I can apply for adjustment status. We should go ahead and file i-485. They might accept the application who knows whether they changed the law internally or not.

Eliminating diversity visa would help in some manner, at least I believe it would give 50,000 visas that can be used for reducing such a huge backlog in green card applications. Even if congress wants to keep this program, they can make this program a flexible where alternate year they use 50,000 visas for EB green cards and the next year for diversity visa. This would benefit both ways.

1. Yes, you can use EAD to work for any company.
2. H1B becomes invalid, but you can always re-validate it if you leave the US and re-enter with a new H1. You can also transfer H1 to new employer. However my advice is to use EAD and forget about H1.
3. The only way to keep H1 is to work full-time for company A and use EAD for part-time job. If you use EAD for full-time job, you invoke AC21 automatically.

Honestly, I think its impossible to get the CIR pass as it has a lot of stuff in it like legal immigrant backlog, illegal amnsety or rather path to legalization, dream act etc..
I am sure they will push for Dream Act before the next election. Whether or not it passes, at least they can say they tried. I sincerly hope they push for the CIR instead of just the Dream Act or may be have another bill just for Legal Immigrants to eliminate backlog... but the fact of life is there are more illegal (read votes) than legals

Hello all - This is my first time. Let me tell all of you that IV is an absolutely wonderful effort.
SO I am confused after reading this post - I have filed I140 and I485 in July 07. I140 is not yet approved but 180 days will end in February 08. I have a job offer from another company. They are willing to transfer my H1. But I do not want to do that since I will loose my Priority date. BUT if I understnad correctly if I wait till February, I can get a H1 transfer and still keep my original GC application? All I need to do is send the new employment verification letter and change of lawyers?
Please respond since the new job offer is reaaallly good and I do not want to loose it...

replace "legal Immigrant Community" with "Legal employment based Immigrant Community", we have to be very very very specific about who we are, we are employment based Legal Immigrant Community and not "legal immigrants", politicians in genereal and especially democrats and Obama in particular refer to family based immigrants as legal immigrants. EB immigrants dont even exist as far as Obama, Durbin and kennedy are concerned (please I am not making a political statement here, just stating the facts, so please dont get into obama\democrat praising\bashing)

My lawyer gave me the same choice between applying I94 extension and visiting canada . I decided to travel to canada .
Any way you have choice of applying new H1 and getting I94 extension with the new H1 .
