i would persume so.. are there any backfalls if at all there are any on e-filing? I read somewhere that e-filers get finger printed and photographed at the ASC while the paper filers arent.Is that true?

I would sit back and wait for the RFE to come and not get paranoid about it. I know it is easier said than done.. but what can you do ??
Since this is for EAD renewal... nothing much can really go wrong... so Do not worry too much about it.

I am in exact same situtation and I am getting my H1 done in premium and I managed to get an appointment at US consulate in chennai for July 12 and waiting with my fingers crossed. Now, is H1 extension approval notice sufficient for her to get H4 stamp or do I have to file for H4 extension in premium as well ?
I am also in exact same situation as you except i got my H1 approval and get stamped but my wife's h4 approval is not yet done. Do we need H4 approval notice for dependents to get stamping? why i am asking this question is i remember when first time they got stamped they do not need any H4 approval notice. Any ideas and also please let me know if you found any other ways. Thanks

Hi Friends,
I am on L2 visa..applied I-765(my first EAD)on 20 th January,2011...but
1.forgot to attach back page of my I-94 form.(there is no entry on back page as i never travelled outside of USA)..how to send it?
2.do not have birth certificate...is it compulsary to attach?
3.Planning 2 travel my country for 10 days on 27th may...so what will happen to my EAD?What should i do now?will it expire after travelling?
4.USCIS received my I-765 application on 20 Jan,2011...how much time it will take to get my EAD?
Please help me on this !

Mine had a RD of May 1 too at NSC. I checked the status for the first two weeks and it said it would be approved in 150-180 days. Now it just says that it is being processed, without any mention of the days it might take.
I also had the same experience, first few weeks it was showing the time line not it doesnt. Does anybody know what could be the reason for this?

I know one case where the dependednt was in India when her AOS got approved. She came back on AP without any issues. But the only thing is she was there just for 5 weeks., and this happened last November.
Her husband talked to some lawers to see the possibility of mailing her card to India, but he was told mailing hte card is illegal.

Today I received final of the 3 email that USCIS sends:
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On January 21, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT ..........................
So here is the order I received the emails for my approval. Hope this will help for people who are awaiting their approval in near future.
Jan 16, 09
Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.
On January 16, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent ......................
Jan 19, 09
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On January 16, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days.....
Jan 21, 09

I called them Friday - they said counting 60 days was a History... That was till Wednesday...
Now they told me not to call before 90 days - BUT NO ONE SAID "TO REFILE " IF CHECKS DONT CASH IN 90 DAYS .. they just asked me to call after 90 days and they will guide me accordingly.
Also the lady said on a personal note >> " I'm sure i wont hear your voice after 90 days because you will surely get Receipt by that time - Its a very stretched deadline to Manage Expectations "
BTW, when I was calling USCIS they were telling me the same - "if your checks wont' be cashed in 60 days, just refile again". It seems to be no problem for USCIS. My checks were finally cashed though.

There is no question in this new USCIS update..which asks

The question are like "How can an alien beneficiary submit a request to change employers"

From what I could understand, there is no mention of EB1 and EB2 at all. It generally covers all canidates who have obtained a Graduate degree in STEM from an American University. So it should benefit EB3 applicants who have a MS in STEM from an US varsity.
Even if there is no direct benefit, taking masters folks out of the quota will cause spillover numbers to come into EB-3.
