If I start a new whole application, I will lost the priority date which is Jun 26, 2006.....
MY PERM was also denied and then approved after appeal. However, I bugged my attorney and she kept sending letters to the DOL once 180 days have passed after an appeal. AILA takes it seriously if Motion to Reopen takes longer than 180days. Try to speak to your attorney. And yes, if you start over, then you will loose your priority date.

When you are elected to serve PA again, will you support our provision of eliminating country caps on employment based green card system? You see, when an employer decides to hire us, the one question that is never asked to attain the job is �which country was I born in�, however, this is the very question that defines our community and the mess we are in today. Inaction only perpetuates the unfairness, and we would like to know your take on this matter.

Please if anybody gets the chance to write an OpEd, use my story as how it can go wrong.
It will add diversity (not "just" Indian, not "just" IT), it should add the human cost - a US citizen who might never see her dad again if this comes to pass.
If you want me to write a few sentences in a joined statement to the press, I can do that. I am not a paying IV member though, I need to start life in Germany from scratch now.

Based on several friend's experience as well as personal experience these rules are made by the borad of reagents in the state in GA you will qualify as in state only if you are under I-485 stage which you are. so talk to the bursar office of your school provide the documentation required, you will have to nove fast.
it does not matter if you have been paing taxes for 10 years on H1/4. though sometimes schools do give a waiver on case by case basis.

Been there, seen it... it really sucks! My upgraded I-140 was approved in EB-3 (should have been EB-2) and the lawyer is still trying to fix it... at least that is what I am told.
It may help you to keep checking from time to time with your lawyer, and ask for copies of emails, FEDEX tracking numbers etc etc whenever they say they sent out a communication. Basically try and do everything you can to follow up on your case.

Hey, I never said it wasn't true, I just stated what it looked like to me. I do know that before Photoshop people did art pixel by pixel. And I am sure if I owned a computer for more than the 4 years that I have that I would have tried it out myself.
His work is amazing and he deserves credit for doing that pixel by pixel. Don't forget, many game designers still do pixel by pixel drawings and animations so I know it isn't impossible. I personally don't have the patience to do works like that pixel by pixel, it would drive me nuts.
As for my personal taste, I prefer the blocky look. That is just me though, maybe it is because I grew up playing with Legos or something. Both types of pixel art deserve proper respect though.

1. if today we see a rush of applications from india and china, this does take timee off for folks to process PERM, and 140 apps.
But if they had fewer PERM and 140s to process, then they can focus on working on Backlog applns, and also the 485 filing can come to forefront then.

In case of corporate companies - It makes sense to go for AC21
In case of sucking consulting companies - Better to play safe

And 70% of us are from these sucking consulting companies...

It makes business sense for them, if all the H1 holders get their GC in 6 months where will they make money by filing for renewal and extension. Yes, they need more H1B!

Its a great idea to create a job posting section on the website. I am sure over the period of time, we will be able to attract the recruiters on to this website along side dice and other job related sites. We have a good number of skilled folks on this site.. Hopefully this will provide is potential add revenue as well... may be I am streatching it far.. but something to think about.

I am working for Desi blood sucking company where there is no concept of HR Deptt. Its a two man show company. i just want to protect me from these blood sucking people. thats why i am asking just sending them 2 week notice thru email is enough and will it stand in court in case they take me to a court.?? do i need to send them legal notice ??

I have applied my change of status on Jan 25th from F1(Trivalley Univ) to H4. I did recieved my EAC number after 4 weeks. I called USCIS to check the status, They are saying decision is pending. Also they are saying it may take another 3 months.
Is it the same case for other change of status applicants ? or Im the only one having this issue. Is there any way to fasten my process ?
Also for some reason when I check my status online at USCIS website, It says your application cannot be found. I did explained this to USCIS, They say there systems are down. Thye are giving the same explaination from past 3 months. I dont know what going with my file.
