Hi,
Can somebody work on 2 H1Bs at one time.
Company A is not willing to pay due to business loss.
Company B is willing to offer full time H1B employment only if transfer, and not on contract.
So if an employee moves from company A to company B in good terms, what happens to A's H1 Visa. Can the employee go back to A in future if needed after working for B for sometime. A is holding the greencard and ofcourse 485 is pending.
Just in case the employee wants to be in A's payroll also, but not get paid. How does that work.
What is the legal way in which A's H1 is not cancelled, and one can work with B, and then go back to A after sometime on same old A's H1.

Also, its a known fact that Indians, mostly, won't subscribe for any security services since women are home makers and they think it as waste of money in these services. And lastly, Indians never buy / keep any weapon at home.

I see many many approvals and which is really good....my concern was for those cases which got shuttled around and tossed among centers. My I-140 was approved in TSC and I-485 submitted in TSC but was sent to CSC for data entry and re-sent back to TSC...So I have a WAC receipt no...i know WAC stands for Wacky too and literally so....
I read in one of the threads that EAC folks are getting fingerprint notices post approval too. I have an infopass apt tomorrow in Mass. I need to know should I ask about biometrics data upload or not....I received online case approval but my wife didn't her case is still showing as Case transfered to the center that has jurisdiction over your case...since last one and half years...I had got RFE last year but not her....I hope her case didn't get sidelined or forgotten...it is quite important that she also gets the approval....she had opened an SR on Friday....and we have an infopass appt t'row...
Is it possible that the reason I didn't get CPO or welcome email but just an approval email is becoz of the biometrics problem with transfer cases...anyone on the same boat?
If you guys think anything particular to ask plz let me know....it is quite a drive and I don't want to waste it....

They approved my case on 9/4 however TSC tell me that cards will be ordered when biometrics are uploaded. Per IO in local office i do not need another FP as FP was renewed electronically but Bio needs upload. I am following up at TSC and via my congressman to get the cards. Call TSC, take INMFOPASS write to Congressman as these transfer cases are generally put at the back. Mine was picked up because of INFOPASS as the IO at my infopass was so nice that she called TSC and requested to have my case reviewed. She also wrote an email to them and within couple of hours of her writing it was approved.

Say if they table CIR these bills will be attached to the bill to act as poison pills
and eventually Tech industry will lobby against the CIR and it will come crashing down.
Mr Obama wants TARP money and he did sign TARP law allowing piece for H1b ban for TARP banks. Same way if they finds that Mr President and Hispanic Caucus are desperate about Illegal Immigration then they will throw anti legal provision left and write. And our beloved president will sign it under pressure of Hispanic Caucus. Democratic government is always BAD for legal immigration.

On the encashed checks USCIS would have stamped your I-140 receipt number. If you can get access to a copy of the check you can easily pull out the number. Also, your new attorney will have to send a new attorney representation form otherwise any RFE or even approval notice will go to your old attorney and you will have bigger problems retrieving information at that stage.

I am currently in USA on H4 in fact I was in the US while I was applying for H1. I still have H4 stamping on my passport and I have not crossed the country since I got my H1 approval papers.
H1 approval has come with a I-94.
If your H1 approval came with I-94 attached then you are on H1. Without working and getting pay stubs you are jeopardizing your status.

if he is part of that company for three Years and in that if he is a manager for an year, he will be eligibile for L1A. Then can apply GC without labor and should be able to get GC in 1 year

But i'd suggest to try for L1A and get GC like an instant coffee at StarBucks.
Take a lawyer advise. The immigration lawyer in their company can do it. Or pay 350$ to sheela murthy and get a full advise.
Or there are lot of chaps in this firm who carry this knowledge like me.

My spouse's PD is Jan 2005 (pre-PERM). No sign of LC approval so far. Spouse is already on 8th yr H1 extension. Is it true that as per the CIR(if passed as is) we will not be able to extend the H1 any more? I am aware that we will have to start all over in new point system ,but if we cannot extend the H1 then we have to leave the country....my vote for this poll depends on the answer to this question..

you can do it yourself online E-filing, no need to pay that layers fees,
i applyed mines last month online to TSC center, and mailed all documents to the E-filing
center, 4 weeks passed and no mail to go for finger printing i was worried to hell what is going to happen , to my great suprised i got my renwed EAD in the mail in 40 days

I'm never convinced with the fact that AILF is suing USCIS. Why would they? Current mess and confusion suits them very well. That's what they need. :(
Its a compromise USCIS might have arrived with AILA .They dont want to get exposed either by AILA or Congress . So lets delink 485 with PD .
This is a win-win situation for all As USCIS can start accepting the application under the new regulation( To be announced in next 24 hours) from Aug 1 ( New fees) and AILA wont file law suit and legal immigrants are happpy ..

Personaly I think spirituality and religion are VERY VERY important parts of life, and often are downplayed, or shirked around because of the unpleseantness of a few individuals. Some of us (I've a feeling our reverend included) are probebly very soft spoken in opinion, and open to inturpretations from various factions.. at least as far as discussion goes.
Being an Agnostic, Realist, Budhist, Communist I do know what it's like to have to walk away from certain conversations.
Personaly I think spirituality and religion are VERY VERY important parts of life, and often are downplayed, or shirked around because of the unpleseantness of a few individuals. Some of us (I've a feeling our reverend included) are probebly very soft spoken in opinion, and open to inturpretations from various factions.. at least as far as discussion goes.
