Beijing Olympics bronze medallist Vijender Singh tied the knot with Delhi based software engineer Archana Singh on 17th May 2011. Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, Senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain and the former Union Minister Captain Satish Sharma were also present on the occasion. Archana Singh hails from Uttar Pradesh and works with the British High Commission in New Delhi. There will be a big reception at our village on 18th May 2011. Both families have known each other for the last three-four months.
